English Translation: Honeysuckle, Forsythia and Puffball Powder
Formula Type: Clear Heat from the Organs
Actions: Clears heat, resolves toxicity, & drain heat from the Lungs to improve the fuctioning of the throat.
Indications: For severe sore throat with great difficulty in swallowing, a red tongue with a thick white or yellow coating, & a rapid, slippery, & possibly floating pulse. This is painful obstruction of the throat due to damp-heat collecting in the Lungs. If the damp-heat is relatively superficial, the tongue coating will be white & the pulse will float; if it penetrates deeper, the tongue coating will turn yellow & the pulse will no longer float.
Contraindications: Unknown.
