Formula Type: Stabilize the Kidneys
Actions: Stabilizes the Kidneys & calms the fetus.
Indications: Soreness & distention of the lower back, a sensation of collapse in the lower abdomen, & vaginal bleeding during pregnancy.Other signs & symptoms include dizziness, tinnitus, weak legs, frequent urination to the point of incontinence, a pale tongue with a white, slippery coating, & a submerged, frail pulse at the rear position.
Contraindications: This formula focuses on tonifying deficiency. It is unsuitable where threatened miscarriage is due to heat or stagnation.

2. Tonifies the Kidneys & Liver & improves vision: for patterns of deficient Liver & Kidney yin & yang (e.g. deficient essence) with such symptoms as dizziness, tinnitis, blurred vision, or spots in front of the eyes.
3. Benefits the Spleen & Kidneys & stops diarrhea: for diarrhea or loose stools with a lack of appetite from deficiency of both the Spleen & Kidneys.

2. Stops uterine bleeding & calms the fetus: for deficient uterine bleeding & vaginal discharge. Also used for restless fetus, bleeding during pregnancy, & threatened miscarriage.
3. Promotes the movement of blood, alleviates pain, & generates flesh: often used for trauma & external disorders (such as sores) & especially for pain & swelling in the lower back & limbs from trauma. For this purpose it can be applied topically or taken internally. Can also be used for painful obstruction. |
