1. Relieves toxicity & eliminates dampness: for joint pain, turbid & painful urination, or jaundice due to damp-heat.

2. Clears damp-heat from the skin: for recurrent ulcers or other hot skin lesions.

Use with caution in cases of Liver & Kidney yin deficiency. According to some traditional sources, this herb should not be taken with tea.
